Is the Planetarium suitable for all ages?
Due to the nature of the shows, only children over 3 years of age can enter the session. Smaller children may be frightened of the noise, as well as visual stimuli, which may be too strong for them. We invite the youngest visitors to watch “One world, one sky”.
During the session
School groups enter the session only with a teacher or carer.
Please do not enter the projection room with food and drink.
Mobile phones should be completely turned off in the projection room.
It is prohibited to photograph, film or record during the sessions.
During the sessions in the projection room, the lights are off. It is inadvisable to go out of the room during the session. In an emergency, you can go out of the room, but there is no possibility to return to the session.
In the projection room, there is a place suitable for a person using a wheelchair (there is no seat there).
Look: there’s the Earth! Exhibition
Come and see our Look: there’s the Earth! Exhibition before or after the show. You will find it on the three floors of the Planetarium. The exhibition shows the Earth observed from Space.

There are separate cloakrooms in the planetarium. We also serve sandwiches, salads, cakes and hot and cold drinks in the BlueSky cafe.
What is where?
Entrance to the Planetarium, cloakrooms, cafe and entrance leading to the Copernicus Science Centre are located on level 0, toilets on level –1, and the projection room on level +1 (there is a lift).
All films shown in the Heavens of Copernicus Planetarium can be watched in English. To receive your language version, ask for a relevant headset in the ticket office before the screening. Each visitor can rent a headset after submitting an ID with a photograph, e.g. student’s ID, driver’s licence, etc. in order to provide all relevant personal data (name, surname, address of residence, personal ID No. or passport No.) or paying a deposit in the amount of PLN 300. Once the headset is returned, all the provided data is erased.
Damaging or losing a headset is subject to a fine of PLN 1,300, which is the value of each headset. Session in the Planetarium is composed of two parts: live sky show and film screening. Live shows are not translated.
Tickets to the Planetarium may be returned no later than 7 days prior to the visit by sending them to email@example.com. Please indicate in the e-mail the reservation number, date of your visit and your bank account number. The handling fee of PLN 10 will be deducted from the returned amount.
