For over a hundred years we have been sending — both consciously and not — various signals to the nearest stars. Is there anyone out there, who receives our messages? How do we try to contact extra-terrestrial creatures? What are our chances of success? During the show we’ll take you under the domes of the world’s biggest telescopes seeking signals from remote places in the outer space, we’ll find out what information about humanity the Pioneer and Voyager explorers carry into space. We’ll also fly towards the planetary system recently discovered around the TRAPPIST-1 star and wonder whether this is the place we should send our “Hello! Is anybody there?” message to.
The show lasts approx. 20 minutes and is hosted live by the Heavens of Copernicus presenters before selected 2D films.
The first show will be presented on 21 March 2017.
Shows before films are usually conducted only in Polish, without translation.
